Why Cuba Blog?

Cuba is a beautiful country with amazing beaches, an excellent Caribbean climate, cities full of intoxicating mysticism, legends and traditions.

For that reason it makes you think you have traveled in the time machine to the epoch when your grandparents went around the world conquering it.

Of Spanish and African roots. Mixed with an impressive North American influence, even Chinese and French.

It is the cradle of rumba, salsa, cha-cha, bolero, mambo, Daiquirí, Mojito and Cuba Libre.

Nevertheless the best thing about Cuba is its people, its daily stories, its peculiar way of speaking, of greeting with a smile and a “¿Qué bolá?”

In addition mixing with its people, enjoying the charm of a bar in Old Havana, visiting the best tobacco plantations in the world or walking on the cobbled streets your ancestors built are experiences that you cannot miss.

On the other hand in so many years of work we have always experienced the difficulties of travelers to properly orient themselves in the organization of their trips to Cuba and within the island itself.

The reason is logical: “the difficult, complex, tedious and bureaucratic network of access to airport services, transportation, accommodation, health, banking, guidance and information for travelers.”

The result: “inestimable waste of time, money, mental wear and tear and good energy” that discolored what could probably be the most unforgettable vacation.

Undoubtedly, several travel agencies operate towards Cuba. A few hundred percent Cuban and most are represented by government agencies.

Therefore they advertise, promote and sell tourist packages according to the interests they represent.

Private hoteliers and businesses on the island are not a priority, despite their excellent standards that make them very attractive, competitive and in many cases a better option.
